Hamsters love to tunnel and explore. They also love transporting things in their very spacious cheek pouches! The more interesting aspects you can safely incorporate into their small pet habitat, the more they will love it. The only limit to the environmental enrichment of your hamster is your own imagination!
Dr. Shawn Finch has wanted to be a Vet ever since she was 9 years old. She went to The University of Nebraska at Lincoln for her Pre-Veterinary Medicine degree. She went to Iowa State University for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
She's been a vet since 1998, and is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association). Shawn is also involved with Nebraska Poodle Rescue and a supporter of Nebraska Humane Society. She writes for CareFRESH, which makes small pet products.
